A man and a woman have been arrested and charged in connection with an altercation at Waterport Road on Monday night, that resulted in a 36year old man being admitted to hospital, where he remains under observation.
36 ear old Dustin Paul Villa, has been charged with:
Attempted Assault with intent to occasion Grievous Bodily harm
Assault on Police
Resisting Arrest
29year old Kayleigh Melanie Vinent has been charged with:
Disorderly Conduct whilst Intoxicated
Criminal Damage
2x counts of Assault on Police.
Vinent was granted Police bail. Villa was refused bail and has been detained in Police custody. Both are due to appear before the Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 93/10/18) morning.
