Two local men have been charged today with drugs and money laundering offences.

24year old John George Ronco has been charged with:
Possession of a Controlled Class A Drug. [a preparation containing Amphetamine Sulphate weighing approximately 0.177gms]
Possession of a Controlled Class B Drug. [Cannabis Resin weighing approximately 132.5gms]
Possession with Intent to Supply a Controlled Class B Drug. [Cannabis Resin weighing approximately 132.5gms]

20year old Kevagn Ronco has been charged with:
Possession of a Controlled Class B Drug. [Cannabis Resin weighing approximately 132.5gms]
Possession with Intent to Supply a Controlled Class B Drug. [Cannabis Resin weighing approximately 132.5gms]
Money Laundering Contrary to Sect 4(1) (b) of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2015.

The two men were arrested on 1st March 2018 when officers of the Drug Squad and Money Laundering Investigation Unit executed a search warrant at a residential address during which the drugs and approximately £3,600 and €11,700 in cash were seized. During the course of the subsequent investigation, a high powered motorcycle was also seized and is subject to the Money Laundering charge.

Both have been granted police bail and pending their appearance before the Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Friday 31st August.
