In connection with an RGP Drug Squad operation conducted yesterday, two local men aged 24 and 19, have been arrested on suspicion of Possession and Possession with Intent to Supply a controlled Class B drug.

The 24yr old was additionally arrested on suspicion of Importation of a controlled drug, with the 19yr old man also arrested on suspicion of Money Laundering.

The arrests follow a search of a residence in the north district conducted yesterday with the assistance of an RGP Drugs Dog and Economic Crime Unit officers.

The operation concluded with the seizure of approximately 155grms of cannabis resin, a minor amount of suspected cocaine, paraphernalia associated with the supply of drugs, and a quantity of cash suspected to be the proceeds of crime.

Both men are currently on Police bail pending further investigation.
