Fundraising Football Tournament

A fundraising five-a-side football tournament between three of Gibraltar’s emergency services has today raised £590 for a good cause.
The competition was held at the Special Olympics Stadium with Gibraltar Fire and Rescue Service coming first, the Royal Gibraltar Police coming second and the Borders and Coastguard Agency coming third.
BCA officers Angelo Lavagna and David Martinez organised the event, which they said was in aid of a work colleague’s wife, who was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer.
The money is being donated to the family who are currently overseas, whilst the wife receives end of life care.
