King’s Birthday Parade – Traffic Plan

Parking Restrictions:

•        Corral Road Public Service Vehicle parking

•        Corral Road Bike parking

•        Landport Ditch parking entirety of two rows closest to wall (Gun salute)

Road Closures:

•        Casemates Hill

•        Corral Road (From Waterport roundabout to Entrance/Exit of Landport Ditch carpark). This will be closed from 0815hrs until troops are stood down – expected to be about 1045hrs.  Market Place only will be open for buses and taxis during this period.

Bus Routes

•        Will not be affected

•        Buses will be allowed into and out of Market Place – this will be RGP controlled

•        1 x Bus Stop to be used for VIP Vehicles

•        Buses will only be stopped for approximately 5 mins for the troops to march on and march off at Casemates.
