A local man will appear before the Magistrates’ Court this morning after being charged with three counts of Strangulation.
Nathan Watson, 22, of Harbour Views Road, was also charged with Threats to Kill and two counts of Common Assault.
His arrest came after the Royal Gibraltar Police received a call to the Control Room at around 5pm on Saturday afternoon stating that a woman had been assaulted.
On police arrival at a residence, several allegations were made against the suspect, resulting in his arrest, interview and detention at New Mole House Police Station.
On Sunday, Watson was charged with the above offences and remanded ahead of his court appearance at 10am this morning.
