As a consequence of Friday’s Ceremonial Opening of Parliament and Saturday’s commemoration of Armistice Day, there will be extra parking restrictions in the area of John Mackintosh Square from today, 9 November, until 1pm on Saturday 11 November.
On Friday, there may be very short delays to traffic in the area as official cars arrive and leave Parliament House between 1015 and 1230.
On Saturday, traffic will not have access to John Mackintosh Square from Line Wall Road from 1050 – 1105. For this short time, there will be no access to City Mill Lane from Line Wall Road.
