Two teenagers were arrested on suspicion of Theft yesterday after a local disability charity reported the theft of two rabbits.
At around 1150, police received a report from staff at PossAbilities on Smith Dorrien Avenue that two persons had jumped over a fence during the night and stolen the animals from their garden.
Shortly after arriving at location, Response Team officers arrested a male juvenile, 15, on suspicion of Theft.
At around 1735, Response Team officers arrested a second male juvenile, 17, on suspicion of Theft, in relation to the same incident.
The two rabbits have been recovered.
Both teenagers were taken to New Mole House Police Station and have been released on police bail whilst officers continue their investigation.
