Our recruit police officers were put through their paces during their latest fitness test this week.

As part of their training school, the officers attend weekly circuit training classes designed to improve their fitness.

The 16 officers making up this current class are from the Royal Gibraltar Police, the Gibraltar Defence Police and the Royal Falkland Islands Police.

They are currently in week 13 of a 23-week intensive training school and are due to pass out as police officers in December.

They will then join a Response Team for a two-year probation period.

The recruits come from a wide variety of backgrounds including the military, the Gibraltar Health Authority, the financial industry and a professional chef.
