A forensic post-mortem examination of the late Alfredo Morado Gutierrez has been conducted earlier today. In line with HM Coroner’s directions the post-mortem has been conducted by Home Office approved Forensic Pathologist Dr Brett Lockyer DSc(Hons), FRCPath. Additionally, Dr Miguel Angel Vizacaya Rojas PHd, was also present during the examination at the behest of the Coroner.
Dr Brett Lockyer is a member of the British Division of the International Academy of Pathology and British Association of Forensic Medicine. He is accredited to practice Forensic Pathology by the Home Office and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists
Miguel Angel Vizcaya Rojas is a Professor at the Universidad de Cadiz’s Department of Pathological Anatomy, Cellular Biology, Histology, Legal and Forensic Medicine and Toxicology.
Following the post-mortem HM Coroner has authorised the release of the body to the family and arrangements are being made for its repatriation to Spain.
